Limited Warranty Information
The warranty obligations of RFT (“Romo Forklift Tires”) for its products are limited to the terms set forth below:
What is covered?
This limited warranty covers defects in workmanship provided by RFT and materials sold by RTF for 90 days from the date shown on the customer invoice.
Who is covered?
Only the original purchaser of this product is covered under this limited warranty. This limited warranty is not transferable to subsequent purchasers or owners of this product.
What RFT will do?
When a product or service is deemed by RFT to be defective, one of the following courses of action will occur depending on how the tires were purchased. RFT may conduct one of the following actions to whatever extent it shall deem necessary in order to satisfy a claim that is covered by this limited warranty:
- Covered tires failing within the warranty period that were installed by RFT on site will be replaced or pro-rated on site at no service cost to the customer. Whether a product will be replaced or pro-rated is the sole discretion of RFT.
- Covered tires failing within the warranty period that were installed by RFT at the RFT Shop will be replaced or pro-rated at no service cost to the customer however the customer is responsible for returning the wheel with tire to the RFT Shop for warranty service. Whether a product will be replaced or pro-rated is the sole discretion of RFT.
- Covered tires failing within the warranty period that were purchased through RFT but not installed by RFT will be replaced or pro-rated by RFT however the customer is responsible for the method of removal and installation and returning the tire to RFT. Whether a product will be replaced or pro-rated is the sole discretion of RFT.
What RFT is not responsible for Under This Limited Warranty:
RFT, will not be responsible for any costs regarding the condition of equipment or failures of equipment that the tires are installed on, including, but not limited to labor, freight, service, and taxes are to be borne by the buyer. We do not warranty, and will not adjust for, any material added to pneumatic tires after installation by RFT. Furthermore, we will not adjust or warrant a tire which has failed as a result of adding any such materials (including but not limited to urethane fill and sealants).
What is Not Covered?
This limited warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration or malfunction of tires resulting from the installation or removal of this product from the wheel rim(s) of initial installation by RFT for any repairs attempted by anyone unauthorized by RFT. This limited warranty does not cover any damage, deterioration or malfunction of tires resulting from negligence during operation of the vehicle with RFT warrantied tires and any other cause which does not relate directly to a defect in materials and/or workmanship of the product.
How to make a claim under this Limited Warranty?
To make a claim under this limited warranty, you must contact or visit the RFT office. In order to process a claim under this limited warranty, the customer must possess an original, dated invoice as proof of purchase.
Limitation on Liability
The buyer agrees with this limited warranty and the remedies, replacement or adjustment, set forth above shall be exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies and conditions, whether oral or written, express or implied and that RFT shall not in any event be held liable for any special, indirect or consequential damages. RFT specifically disclaims any and all implied warranties, including, without limitation, warranties of MERCHANTABILITY and FITNESS for a particular purpose.
